Show Notes

Not everyone knows exactly what they want to do for the rest of their lives, and Karen Ansara feels no differently. But that hasn’t stopped her from following her passion and becoming a driving force behind a global network of philanthropy!

In our new episode of Empowered Women Series, Karen Ansara, the co-founder of New England International Donors and the Ansara Family Fund, discusses how to navigate the social impact sector and how you shouldn’t think of your career as a linear line.

An extremely dedicated individual, Karen got her start in philanthropy as a way to conduct social change and become active in social justice work. She highly recommends putting yourself out there and making sure you’re working for an organization that’s somehow related to your own story. In her own words, “Get out there and do it!”
